In late 2009, we collaborated with international wedding photographer Henry Chen at Lulu and Ken’s wedding at the Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Henry is in high demand — when he is not shooting for the NBA, he is shooting weddings and special events all over the globe. Wedding Makeup and Hair at Saint Ignatius Church, San Francisco

Jennifer scheduled her bridal trial, excited to go over ideas for hair and makeup for her upcoming wedding at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco.

At our studio, we discussed Jennifer’s goals, the wedding theme and colors, and went over a few looks that she brought in.

We did makeup first, using our ultra-lightweight MUD foundations. For her lips, I chose Chanel Rouge Double Intensite in Rose Pearl. To create more refined, dramatic look, we used Shu Umuera individually placed eyelashes to really accentuate her eyes. I then created a bridal hairstyle that matched Jennifer’s personality: a sleek, elaborate updo that lasted all day.
